In this one-hour, project-based course, you'll learn how to install and configure the new Input System. Unlike the old system, called Input Manager, Unity's new system will allow developers to create bindings that map actions to input devices - eliminating the need to manage which input device a player is using, nor which physical button a player is pressing. In this project, you'll learn how to create "control schemes" and "action maps" and use them in your C# scripts to create device-agnostic player movement. The guided project will introduce you to the following Unity concepts: - New Input System - Rigidbody - C# coding techniques such as event-handling This course makes use of the poly-castle Unity project created in Create Keyboard Movement Mechanics with C# in Unity. It compliments this guided project and, although not a prerequisite, is recommended for a more well-rounded understanding of the concepts presented herein. In this project, we will replace the project's existing input system with the new system. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.Auto Summary
Discover the essentials of Unity's new Input System in this engaging, one-hour course designed for beginners in personal development. Led by Coursera, this project-based learning experience focuses on the advanced features of Unity's Input System, contrasting it with the older Input Manager. Participants will gain hands-on experience in creating device-agnostic player movements through control schemes and action maps, using C# scripts for seamless integration. The course covers key Unity concepts, including the New Input System, Rigidbody, and C# event-handling techniques. It builds on the poly-castle Unity project from the "Create Keyboard Movement Mechanics with C# in Unity" course, which, while not mandatory, is highly recommended for a comprehensive grasp of the subject matter. Ideal for learners based in North America, this free, beginner-level course is an excellent opportunity to enhance your Unity development skills and streamline your input management processes for a more versatile gaming experience. Join now to elevate your game development capabilities with Unity's cutting-edge Input System.

In this one-hour, project-based course, we will recreate the first ever "Easter Egg" in game development history! Easter Eggs in video games are hidden features that can be revealed by pressing a combination of buttons, completing a task in a certain way or exploring remote or obscure areas of a game. They can be hidden messages from the programmers, hidden music tracks or art, even a complete hidden level. In this guided project, we will recreate the Easter egg secretly created by developer Warren Robinett in Atari’s 1980 game, Adventure! You'll learn how to set up a simple 2D environment similar to rooms from the original game; how to make the player move with the keyboard and enable the player to pick up and drop objects in the same way as Adventure!; and how to write a C# script that will reveal the Easter egg once all the requirements are met. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.Auto Summary

We are in constant relationship with many organizations. Our world is submitted to regular changes as organizations evolve, come and go. Understanding your memberships and attachments to organizations will help you act on your world. You'll learn how to evaluate the influence of organizations around you and how to transform your relationships to reach a stronger coherence. Do you feel sometime that the world around you is disorganized? Can you make sense of all the information at your reach and have an impact on this situation? Have you ever thought that this conundrum may be due to all the organizations that emerge, strive or wane, and disappear every day? Organizations are ubiquitous, from clubs and associations to firms and public agencies. Organizations confer meaning to all of us, and our attachment and membership to organizations have a profound effect on all areas of our lives. But in our increasingly turbulent world, these organizations run the risk of disappearing or losing their legitimacy, steering a sense of pointlessness and absurdity. This course develops an integrative approach to understanding organizations and their behaviors, termed ‘orgology’. It explains that organizations can act strategically to protect and renew the sense of membership and attachment of individuals. So doing, organizations that survive and thrive impose their logics of action onto society, thereby influencing what is legitimate or not. In turn, individuals, you, all of us, must reinterpret our multiple associations with organizations and contribute to reinforce or inhibit social evolutions. This new way of understanding organizations’ relationships with society results in reconsidering management and the role of individuals in building their future. There is no prerequisite to this course, you are all welcome ! Students and people interested in the fields of management, sociology, strategy, economics leadership etc… will benefit a lot from this course. For the session of this course starting on January 11th, Professor Rodolphe Durand will actively be participating and interacting with learners. He will be offering "office hours" sessions through google hangouts and answering learner questions from the forums. We hope this direct interaction will add to your learner experience! Please enroll today!الوحدات

In the second course of the Machine Learning Specialization, you will: • Build and train a neural network with TensorFlow to perform multi-class classification • Apply best practices for machine learning development so that your models generalize to data and tasks in the real world • Build and use decision trees and tree ensemble methods, including random forests and boosted trees The Machine Learning Specialization is a foundational online program created in collaboration between DeepLearning.AI and Stanford Online. In this beginner-friendly program, you will learn the fundamentals of machine learning and how to use these techniques to build real-world AI applications. This Specialization is taught by Andrew Ng, an AI visionary who has led critical research at Stanford University and groundbreaking work at Google Brain, Baidu, and Landing.AI to advance the AI field. This 3-course Specialization is an updated and expanded version of Andrew’s pioneering Machine Learning course, rated 4.9 out of 5 and taken by over 4.8 million learners since it launched in 2012. It provides a broad introduction to modern machine learning, including supervised learning (multiple linear regression, logistic regression, neural networks, and decision trees), unsupervised learning (clustering, dimensionality reduction, recommender systems), and some of the best practices used in Silicon Valley for artificial intelligence and machine learning innovation (evaluating and tuning models, taking a data-centric approach to improving performance, and more.) By the end of this Specialization, you will have mastered key theoretical concepts and gained the practical know-how to quickly and powerfully apply machine learning to challenging real-world problems. If you’re looking to break into AI or build a career in machine learning, the new Machine Learning Specialization is the best place to start.الوحدات

This course examines the transformation of Korean society beginning around the turn of the 20th century to contemporary times. In particular, it explores how shifting categories of masculinity, and by contrast, femininity have impacted upon, and in turn been influenced by social, cultural, and political change. Using multiple disciplinary lenses, we will critically examine how gender intersects with political, social, and economic developments starting with the Confucianization of Korean society during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) up to the contemporary moment of globalization and neoliberal reform. The class will draw on a variety of topics such as traditional views of women, religion, race, class, education, patriarchy, sexuality, imperialism, modernity, war, globalization, the diaspora, among others. Special attention will be placed on the historical, transnational and transdisciplinary connections.الوحدات
